How it works
& after care
Microneedling uses micro-needles to puncture the skin and cause physical trauma. Our body corrects this trauma by forming new collagen. In recent studies, skin treated with four microneedling sessions spaced one month apart produced up to a 400 percent increase in collagen and elastin six months after completing the treatment.
YOUR SKIN MAY BE flushed or bright red FOR UP TO 48 hours AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT.
WAIT AT LEAST 48 hours after microneedling BEFORE YOU wear makeup TO GIVE THE SKIN time to heal.
MUCH OF THE visible recovery FROM MICRONEEDLING HAPPENS IN THE first two days, BUT HEALING WILL STILL OCCUR UNDER THE SURFACE OF YOUR SKIN for up to 2 months.
