Before Your Treatment
- Avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and certain supplements for 5 days before your appointment.

- Arrange for a driver to bring you to and from your appointment. You may feel different after your procedure, so having someone drive you is preferred, but they do not need to stay during the procedure.
- Take all of your regular medications unless otherwise instructed by our office.
- Wear comfortable clothing that can be easily removed and put back on to accommodate bandages and compression garments.
After Your Treatment
- For at least five days, wear your compression garment all the time, even when you're sleeping.
- Remove it only when showering. The longer you wear it, the better your results.
- You may shower right away. Simply replace your bandages and compression afterward.
- Pain is usually well-managed with Tylenol. Avoid NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen) for 2 weeks.
- Stay hydrated to support recovery.
- We highly recommend at least two lymphatic massages. The first should be scheduled within 5–7 days post-treatment. You may choose any licensed massage therapist.
